What we did

Craft Düsseldorf delivered a gut-punch of a branded short for eBay, in which a man reflects on the division between himself and his brother. The split-narrative tells us both the tale of a man rebuilding the car of his youth and the fraternal history surrounding it.

How we did it

The fact that you should leave no stone unturned to repair what you hold dear is staged by director Joanna Nordahl in a way that is as true to life as it is touching.

With “A Second Chance,” eBay once again focuses on its meaningful role as a brand in people’s lives, setting itself apart from the industry’s usual price- and rationality-driven communications landscape for online purchases of vehicle parts and accessories.

The idea was to position eBay as the reliable and authentic e-commerce platform to source what’s specific and rare such as car parts are.
